Fijians who reside in the  Nadi to RakiRaki Corridor in the Western Division and who have been adversely impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) may be eligible to receive assistance through a new partnership. Rotary Fiji (Rotary Clubs of Suva, Lautoka and Nadi) has teamed up with the FIJI Water Foundation to offer care packages containing food rations and baby essential packs for families. 

Vineeta Nand, Area Governor Fiji of District 9920 (New Zealand and the Pacific) said 2020 has been a challenging year and with over 180,000 Fijians impacted by the Coronavirus Pandemic, it is important to support our fellow Fijians through these trying times.

“Rotary Fiji, through its network of knowledge and expertise continues to work with the private sector, Fijian Government and external donors to assist in humanitarian response work.”  

To receive support, Fijians in the Western Division can send an email to rotaryfjcovidhelp@gmail.com or pick up and lodge applications forms at the following locations:·         Nadi – nearest RB Patel Supermarket·         Lautoka – nearest RB Patel Supermarket·         Rakiraki – Rakiraki Public Market, Manager’s Office, Vaileka (Rakiraki Town Council)·         Tavua – Tavua Town Council, Nabuna Street·         BA – Island Pharmacy, Main Street
