Students of Ratu Kadavulevu School today received fifty wooden chests from the Fiji Corrections Services to help those students who lost their belongings during a fire at the school dormitory last month.

The donation follows the visit by the Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama to the school last month.

Commissioner of Corrections, Francis Kean said the donation will greatly assist the students as they return to school next year.

Ratu Kadavulevu School assistant principal Sakiusa Kuruduadua thanked government, the Fiji Corrections Services and other stakeholders that have assisted the school so far.

The wooden chests were built by inmates whom are under the FCS rehabilitation program.
