The Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces , Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto says they are currently actively in the process of hiring a professional psychologist.

He made this comment while responding to the Deputy Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Salik Govind on whether Post Traumatic Disorder counseling is provided for officers who are deployed to other countries for peacekeeping duties.

Rear Admiral Naupoto says currently there are no professional psychologists in RFMF to offer counseling services to soldiers however they do seek services from some qualified psychologists who are enlisted with the force.
