Rewa House defended the QVSOB Druavesi Shield for second consecutive year having a combine score of 118.

“This win is for all members of Rewa House in Fiji and those living overseas. I wish to express my thanks and appreciation to the Terikauwai crew comprising the golfers and those behind the preparation for a success” said Esala Mau – President of QVSOB Rewa House.

First Runner up was Verata House with a score of 121.69, Bau with 121.76 and Tovata House with 127.71.

Rewa House was captained by Suva lawyer Tomasi Tuitoga and ably supported by HE Niumaia Tabunakawai.

Tovata House was captained Former Ports Authority of Fiji General Manager Waqa Bauleka.

Bau House was captained by RFMF Commander Viliame Naupoto whilst Verata House was captained by former Diplomat Ratu Isoa Gavidi.

Eleven teams- comprising over fifty five golfers participated in the 18 holes 26th QVSOB Druavesi Golf Tournament at The Fiji Golf Club on Friday 30 November 2018.

Taking the individual overall winner is Bau House Team 2. Teams comprise of RFMF Commander Viliame Naupoto, seasoned golfer Penisoni Gauna, Peni Taoi and Mosese Lako.

THE QVSOB Annual Druavesi Golf tournament continued to be a success this year.

Apart from the 55 participants, we have a good number of young Old Boys who currently attending Tertiary institution volunteer to assist in the organisation and also caddie to their House Teams providing moral support and learning the sport of golf.

The Fiji Golf Club course was in spectacular condition on the day and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.
