The man who allegedly murdered a New Zealand national and businessman, Ashkan Farsani, earlier this year has pleaded not guilty to murder and possession of illicit drugs.
The State lawyer made an application to include a further charge of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
The court heard that Rusiate Raiwalui allegedly had possession of 101.3 grams of cocaine on the 8th of May this year.
He has been further remanded in custody and the matter has been adjourned to the 14th of February next year.
The deceased was found with stab wounds on his chest.
