A 34 year old farmer is in police custody following a raid in Nalawa, Ra.
Close to four hundred dried branches were found.
Police also uprooted more than twenty plants ranging from 2m-3m in height all suspected to be marijuana.
The suspect is in custody at the Rakiraki Police Station.
The seized materials have been sent for analysis.
Investigations continue.
Meanwhile, Four people are in custody at the Tukavesi Police Station after they were found with yaqona allegedly stolen from a farming estate in Tukavesi.
Police noticed the four acting in a suspicious manner and pursued them and were eventually arrested at the junction of Tukavesi Village yesterday afternoon.
The four are alleged to have stolen up to 20 yaqona plants which have been recovered by Police
Investigations continue.
