Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, Denarau Island is pleased to announce the appointment of Anan Tumya from Bangkok, Thailand as the resorts new Speciality Chef for Chantara Thai Restaurant.

In celebration of Chef Anan Tumya’s appointment and to offer you a chance to see first hand how talented the new team is, Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, Denarau Island is running a Summer of Romance promotion with romantic dinner specials for two from now until March 31st.

Chef Anan delivers a progressive four course set menu sampling four regions and flavours from North, Central, East and Southern Thailand at FJ$150 per couple at Chantara.

Primarily inspired to be a Chef by his own background having parents who loved cooking, Chef Anan says this was a great influence in his choice of profession.

Every dish he creates enchants the taste buds of diners with the different aspects of traditional Thai flavors but also captures the eye through an elegant creative presentation.

With his passion and experience with innovative cooking and style, Chef Anan looks forward to preparing delicious and beautifully displayed Thai dishes with his creative display and presentation skills. Originally from Thailand with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Home Economics from Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, Chef Anan has outstanding experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries having worked at various international locations such as Dubai, Thailand, Malaysia, China, India, Oman and Maldives.

Chef Anan Tumya also specializes in carving and creative food displays winning a number of gold medal awards in Fruit, Vegetable, Flowers and Banana Leaf Decoration Contests across Thailand.

The culinary team led by Executive Chef Andreas Reinhardt is excited to team up with Speciality Chef Anan to invigorate the Thai restaurants menus offering a more diverse range of unique dishes that feature the four flavours of Thai cooking – spicy, robust, zesty, and sweet and sour.
