Police in Koro Island are seeking assistance from member of the public to help apprehend a 22 year old man farmer of Sinuvaca village, Koro Island who is alleged to be involved in the cultivation of plants believed to be marijuana.

A total of 21 green plants were uprooted from the suspect’s farm by police through public information as police investigation continue.

Meanwhile a 32 year old security officer of Nawaka, Nadi is in police custody after he was found in possession of 8 x branches of dried leaves believed to be marijuana wrapped in a newspaper.

Drugs yet to be analyzed as investigation continue.
