Police are requesting information from the Public to help identify a man who was found near Veisida Hart Creek yesterday afternoon.
The victim was found lying face down in a creek by a woman of Veisida Hart when she was crossing the Veisida Bridge.
He has a tattoo of Bob Marley on his left shoulder, is of fair complexion and broad built.
Crime officers were dispatched to the scene to uplift the victim’s body.
A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death as investigations continue.
Meanwhile police investigations are continuing over the body found at Muanikau.
ACP Maretino Qiolevu says that a post mortem was conducted yesterday however forensics have not yet determined the cause of death.
The Fiji Police would like to thank members of the public and the media in providing information on the man who had been admitted in ICU at the CWM Hospital since 21st December 2018.
He has been identified by his wife and is currently responding to medication with a status of recovery.
Earlier the victim was found by a taxi driver with visible head injuries who then dropped him at the Makoi Health Center and later transferred to the CWM hospital.
