The People’s Community Network National Director – has pleaded guilty at the Suva Magistrates Court, for failing to provide information to the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Semiti Qalowasa was charged in relation to inquiries into the controversial “Lagilagi Housing Project”.

The defense has asked for 14 days to file their submissions.

Qalowasa is charged for failing to provide information to the FCCC, and is contrary to section 119 and 132 of the FCCC Act 2010.

This affected the Commission’s work to carry out its invsetigations into the Housing Project last year.
