The Fiji Roads Authority is advising members of the public that the Queens Road, at the following locations, are under water due to the continuous rain.
FRA is issuing a travel restriction and halfway traffic movement for those travelling to Vuna-niu Flats.
Nabuke-levu flats after Naboutini Village travelling towards Suva was also flooded.
The road at Galoa Village is also expected to be closed shortly with the continuous rain.
The Yarawa flats is likely to be also flooded.
Portions of Queens Road are normally open but will need people’s transgression when making travelling plans during rain events.
This is from from Wainadoi to Galoa Village and from Naboutini towards the western boarder.
Motorists, and members of the public are advised to take necessary precautions and to take this notice into account when finalizing travel plans.
