Over 400 smart phones have been reported stolen from the Vodafone Fiji Limited’s Suva warehouse last Friday.

Vodafone has posted up the list of IMEI numbers of the stolen phones, warning anyone from buying them.

A link to these IMEI numbers can be found on the Vodafone Facebook page.

Vodafone has confirmed that the burglary occured on the early hours of that morning and is advising the general public to refrain from purchasing the stolen smartphones from unknown or unauthorized sources and without proper transactional records or receipts.

The mobile company says the stolen smartphones can and will be traced and anyone found in possession of these stolen smartphones will be subject to police investigation and prosecution.

Vodafone says they will not be liable for any transactions or losses associated with the purchase or use of these stolen smartphones.

Meanwhile Police have confirmed that the matter has been reported and that 21 cartons of j6 mobile smart phones were stolen from the Vodafone Warehouse in Toorak.

It has been confirmed that entry was gained by the removal of louver blades from the washroom.

So far no one has been questioned regarding the incident. Investigations continue.
