About 1300 Entries were received from 60 schools around the country for this year’s Bright Smiles, Bright future Competition.
Colgate Palmolive-General Manager-Jarrod Parker says there has been very good standards and originality shown from this years entries.
The contest invites children from the ages of 6 to 9 years to create artwork that show what their own bright smiles mean to them.
12 lucky kids were chosen as finalists by nine judges, to represent Fiji in the Bright Smiles, Bright Future South Pacific Finals.
This contest is held annually to encourage children to take care of their dental health and advocate on hygiene through art.
All participants who sent in their Entries will get a Colgate Bright Smile Kit and a certificate of Participation.
Parker hopes they get to have a Global Finalist from Fiji this year. One of the judges, Laisiasa Veikoso from the Fiji Arts Council, said they are always impressed on the increasing interest of entries from students every year.
The Top Winners will receive cash prizes and their artwork will feature in the 2020 My Bright smile Calendar.
