The Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation with the Bank of South Pacific will be present at certain locations during the month of August 2020, to assist Social Welfare recipients who need to recertify to validate their welfare accounts or who choose to receive their monthly payments through the Bank of South Pacific.
To open an account at a Centre, each recipient is required to present the following:
• Department of Social Welfare Identification Card
• Voter Registration Identification Card
• Joint Tin Card/ Tin Letter
To all our Social Pension Scheme (65years and above) and Disability Allowance Recipients, please note, that you are NOT expected to visit the advertised Centres unless you are able to. Please be advised that arrangements will be made to assist you, if you wish to transition your payments to the Bank of the South Pacific. Arrangements for Social Pension Scheme (65years and above) and Disability Allowance Recipients with disabilities will be announced at a later date.
The Ministry with the Bank of South Pacific will be at the following Centres from the; 17th to 21st August, 2020. Other Centres will be advertised weekly.
