The National Fire Authority attended to a fire incident at Vision Motors in Waimalika on Friday morning.
Upon arrival the Nadi fire team saw the Vision Motors mechanical workshop engulfed in flames.
The Team quickly used multiple deliveries of water from the fire trucks and hydrant supply to extinguish the fire and stop it from spreading to vehicles parked outside the building.
The workshop had 3 cars, spare parts, tyres and car lubricants that was destroyed in the fire. The Fire Team managed to save the vehicles parked around the building with only few cars sustaining little to no damage. A total of 18 firefighters were at the fire scene.
NFA will be conducting its investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
