And today is another milestone achievement under the Fijian made campaign.
Today we are launching the Fijian organic brand, Fijian organic is a new inclusion to the growing brands ,and gives recognition to local producers who make an effort to use organic farming methods. The Fijian organic is certified and its based on either recognized international standards certification or certification guaranteed with poetcom.
Koya says that the Ministry of Agriculture in partnership with his ministry the UNDP and the organic stakeholders, is also developing a national organic policy framework.
I therefore urge all the stakeholders to give priority to this policy by participating in the consultations that will actually take place.
