Nemani Nadolo will not be part of the Flying Fijians campaign at this year’s Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Nadolo is the second player in two days to announce his retirement from international rugby after Timoci Nagusa did so on Wednesday

The 30 year old Montpellier winger this morning revealed on his official facebook account that he has decided to call it a day in playing for Fiji.

Nadolo thanked the Almighty for getting to where he is today.

He said when he first donned the jersey back in 2010 he never thought he would have played this long and represented Fiji.

Nadolo thanked the the coaches, trainers, physios, players and people that he had come in contact with during his career.

The 130kg winger also thanked Fijians in Fiji and abroad.

Nadolo said with the depth and current crop of outside backs coming through he has no doubt that the next “caretakers” of the jersey will do a better job.

Nadolo added he faced a few challenges over the last 18 month’s both on and off the field.

Nemani Nadolo scored a total of 19 tries in 30 tests for Fiji.

His last match for Fiji was against Tonga at Churchill park in Lautoka on the 23rd of June last year.
