The Navua Football Association is thankful to Fiji FA and Punjas for the generous handover of groceries to its players and officials yesterday.

Navua President Rajeev Prasad said the players had been asking about it and their prayers have been answered.

“Some of our players are badly affected by Covid-19 and this assistance will really help them,” he said.

“We have been trying to help the players in whatever way we can but it’s difficult knowing all businesses have been affected by this Pandemic.”

Prasad thanked Fiji FA for supplying groceries which will assist the players.
Meanwhile, Navua is preparing for the Punjas Battle of the Giants tournament under the watchful eyes of Mohammed Shafil who back with team.

Navua is pooled with Lautoka, Nadi and Rewa in the tournament.
