The Water Authority of Fiji is advising customers living in elevated parts of Nausori that water supply will be disrupted from 9pm tonight to 4am Tuesday morning.

The interruption in supply is to conduct maintenance and relocation works to the water main on the bridge at Verata Village along the Queens Road.

The planned works are part of the ongoing construction of the new Verata Bridge by the Fiji Roads Authority.

Affected areas include Verata, Kasava, Baulevu, Prince Road and Lakena.

The Authority is advising residents in the areas mentioned, to store and use water wisely, for their immediate needs during the temporary disruption period.

Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas, as and when the need arises.
