The 3 day National Climate Outlook Forum currently underway in Nadi is designed to address needs in meteorological services by users.
Fiji Meteorology Service stakeholders attending the forum will have the chance to have an extensive interaction with the Fiji Met office reps who will tailor make their products to directly meet the user’s requirements.
The idea and objective behind this gathering “the National Climate Outlook Forum” is bring these stakeholders or users of climate information for the discussion of issues both parties have at current.
This forum is significant for both the Met service and information users, an opportunity to address needs and tailor make products that will directly meet requirements.
The meeting has been made possible through the collaboration between the Fijian government and the United Nations Development Programme.
The Agriculture sector is at the focus of this second National Climate Outlook Forum.
The forum will end on Friday.
