The Nasinu Football side is all geared up to face the giants of Fiji Football in their opening match of the Vodafone Premier League this Sunday.
Nasinu FA president Oneil Lal said they had been training for past three weeks and ready to face Ba.
“We have been training from past three weeks and we are trying to build our team for the league after leaving behind what happened during the Courts IDC last year,” said Lal.
Lal said they are aware the strength of Ba but they would do their best in the match.
“As we said last year we are here to stay in the top division and we are going to prove that we are here to stay,”
He urged Nasinu fans to put their support behind the team.
“I urge Nasinu fans to support us in our campaign and come out in numbers on Sunday as we are playing one of the top teams and the support from the fans will really boost the morale of the players,”
Meanwhile Ba FA secretary Iliaz Khan said they were ready to play Nasinu in the opening game.
“We have been preparing for the OFC Champions League and played few build up matches and the match against Nasinu will also help us in our preparation, “said Khan.
Khan said they are hoping for a winning start against Nasinu.
“Our objective this year for the 2019 Vodafone Premier League is to be the league winner and we are doing everything.
We are building our team as it’s a very youthful team with mixture of senior players. We will take each game at a time.”
Ba faces Nasinu at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Sunday.
In the other match at the same time, Lautoka hosts Tavua at Churchill Park.
