Fiji Airways National 7s wing Alosio Naduva may not travel with the team to United States this evening.

Naduva is yet to be granted a USA Visa.

Fiji Rugby Union is confident that Naduva will get his visa to travel to USA early next to compete in the Las Vegas 7s tournament.

FRU CEO John O’Connor says they applied early for the Naduva’s visa well prior to the Hamilton 7s but and there has still been no outcome to his visa application.

It was the same case last year where Naduva joined the team later in Las Vegas after been granted the visa and FRU is hoping the same outcome again.

O’Connor says they are still very hopeful that will receive feedback to his visa application at the earliest to allow him to join the Team as required by World Rugby and USA Rugby to field our strongest possible Team.

In case Naduva’s visa application is delayed, Ulaiyata Batisavu is on standby to travel with the Team.

Fiji meet Scotland, Australia and Wales in Las Vegas which kicks off next Saturday.
