The Nadi football side came from behind twice to beat Lautoka 3-2 in an exciting Vodafone Premier League encounter at Prince Charles Park this afternoon.
It was Sitiveni Cavuilagi’s individual brilliance in the 24th minute which the was only difference in the first half as the visitors led 1-0 at the breather.
The Jetsetters came firing in the second half as Avinesh Waran Sumamy hammered in a left footer to level the scores in the 46th minute.
Samuela Gavo came off the bench to nod in an easy header in the 67th minute to put the Blues into a 2-1 lead.
A minute later, Nadi fought back to equalise as Rusiate Matarerega’s shot in the 68th minute was too powerful for Lautoka goalkeeper Viliame Tabucala to handle.
Sakaraia Naisua made the overall difference in the 74th minute with his individual brilliance from the halfway line following a counter attack by Nadi from a Lautoka corner kick.
