Governing Body Meetings are to deliberate and make decisions on the 2020 Work Programme and Budget of the Secretariat, as well as on substantive policy issues including political, economic, social and sustainable development for the benefits of its Members.
This was shared by Director General of the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG), Ambassador Amena Yauvoli during the MSG Governing Body Meetings, yesterday at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
The meetings have been organised by the Fijian Government in collaboration with the Government of Papua New Guinea (PNG), as current Chair of the MSG.
The meetings are expected to bring together Foreign Ministers and Senior Officials from MSG Member countries, including Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, FLNKS, and Republic of Indonesia as Associate Member, and MSG Observers.
The meeting which began yesterday (10/02/20) will end on Wednesday 12th February 2020.
