A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the South Pacific Stock Exchange and the New Zealand Stock Exchange this afternoon.
The signing will further develop the capital markets in Fiji by considering opportunities for collaboration.
The new signing of the MOU between the South Pacific Stock Exchange and the New Zealand Stock Exchange will include improving computer and technology synergies, establishing a mechanism to facilitate inter market investment market flows, and providing investors access to different investment options.
NZX Chairperson-James Miller says the MOU is is an important step by the Fijian and New Zealand Capital market to come together.
According to the NZ High Commissioner-Jonathan Curr, Fiji is amongst the Top 20 Trade Markets for New Zealand.
