More than hundred applications were received in the Fiji Football Association pre-season transfer window which closed on Tuesday, July 07.
Fiji FA licensing officer Rohitesh Narayan confirmed they were now sorting out all the applications.
“We have received more than hundred applications in seven days which includes premier, senior, youth, women, futsal and club transfers,” said Narayan.
He said the window was open to all players who were available on a free transfer.
“The intention of this transfer is to clearly facilitate the movements of players who have no contractual obligation and/or non-contractual goodwill arrangements.”
Narayan confirmed they would sort out applications which fulfilled all the requirements as circulated during the opening of the window on July 01.
“We have dealt with some of the application and those players who had no issues have been approved.”
Narayan urged applicants to email at email@example.com they would like to know the status of their applications.
