The Child Help-line has revealed many Fijian children are being neglected and sexually abused.
The youngest victim is a 9-year-old.
Since March 19th, more than 70 percent of calls made to the Child help-line were for child protection issues and children seeking assistance for essential needs.
Medical Services Pacific has a mechanism in place to help children who have been abused.
Key partner, the Ministry of Women acknowledged the response to assiting children who seek help.
The Ministry of Women, Women’s Crisis Centre and Medical Services Pacific will continue to work together to address issues that affect children.
