Fiji Airways Fijian
7s coach Gareth Baber is keen to strengthen his squad for the remainder of the
season.

Once coming out of
COVID-19 Baber is planning to bolster his squad by recruiting more players.

This was confirmed by
Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer John O’Connor.

Baber will lose some
of his key players to Frence clubs after Aminiasi Tuimaba and Filimoni Botitu
signed contracts with Pau and Castres clubs.

O’Connor says they
have already mapped out their plans on including more players.

O’Connor says Skipper
Cup is one competition where Baber can scout for new talents for the 7s team.

He says once the
Skipper Cup resumes Baber can also allow his players to feature for their clubs
to get game time.

Fiji Rugby Union is eyeing July 11th to resume its domestic competition.
