Energy Fiji Limited has deployed more personnel’s to the Northern Division to help restore power.

There are many areas in the Northern Division still without the power supply due to the damages caused by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.

11 percent of the power has been restored in Labasa.Savusavu has 44 percent of the power supply to all areas from Davodara settletment till Namawa and Urata Village till Sarave settlement.

Seaqaqa and Dreketi is left to have power restored.

EFL has also deployed, a number of electrical contractors who have also been hired to assist with power supply restoration in Vanua Levu.

Chief Executive Officer Hasmukh Patel says the EFL sincerely apologizes to all our valued customers who are yet to get power supply restored to their installations/homes.

Every metre of the power line has to be physically inspected, safely repaired where required, before it can be energised.

Whilst this process is time consuming, it is none-the less critical to ensure the safety and security of power supply.

Remaining Areas of Power Restoration:

Vanua Levu Labasa 11% All areas outside Labasa Town (energised most parts of Labasa Town, Labasa Hospital, Bulileka)

Seaqaqa 0% All areas in Seaqaqa

Dreketi 0% All areas in Dreketi

Savusavu 44% All areas from Davodara Settlement till Namawa and Urata Village till Sarava Settlement
