Alcohol continues to be linked to breach of curfew arrests during the festive season.
All fifteen cases recorded between Thursday 11pm to Friday 4am were drunk while thirteen cases out of eighteen recorded between Wednesday 11pm to 4am yesterday were also found intoxicated.
The Southern Division recorded eight cases on Wednesday 11 pm to 4 am on Thursday.
This including three men in their 30’s and an 18-year-old man who were all found drunk in the Navua.
A juvenile was arrested at Cunningham for loitering while three other people were found drunk at Cunningham, Navosai and Narere.
Three other men in their 20’s were found loitering along the Narere and the Tovata area in Makoi.The Northern Division recorded six cases whereby all were found drunk at Labasa and Wairiki in Taveuni.
The Central Division recorded three cases including a 38-year-old Carpenter of Tacirua who was found driving without a valid reason while two men in their 20’s were found drunk and loitering at Flagstaff bus stop and along the Brown Street area in Toorak.
