The French Air Force yesterday delivered family tents as part of their relief supply assistance at the Nadi International Airport.

French Ambassador to Fiji, His Excellency Jean-François Fitou says these tents will help those families affected by Tropical Cyclone Harold.

Fitou says some families are still trying to get back on their feet, and hope these tents will go a long way for them.

He adds, the same shipment will be delivered today and tomorrow as well, with a total of 200 tents altogether.
And that this is also in support of the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism.

The Ambassador emphasised on the relationship between the two governments and that the French Government is always willing to help Fiji, as the country continues to fight the Covid-19 pandemic together with helping Fijians get back on their feet after TC Harold.

French Military aircraft are doing delivery to Nadi for three straight days.
