Mobil Oil (Fiji) is proudly sponsoring students affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa in Vanua Levu. Around 1100 primary school students in cyclone ravaged areas have been provided with back-to-school kits containing school bags with a full suite of stationery thanks to Mobil’s support. The kits were distributed to schools spanning from Bua to Seaqaqa.
Mobil Oil (Fiji) Chief Executive Officer, Adi Tamara said that as a parent, he feels for the children affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
Tamara added that Education is a basic and fundamental right of every child and Mobil hopes our sponsorship will help those children affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa to experience a positive start to the 2021 school year.
As a major supplier of fuel in Vanua Levu and operator of the largest terminal facility on the island, Mobil has also played a crucial role in supporting the Government’s cyclone relief efforts.
