The Minister for Trade, Industry and Tourism Premila Kumar has welcomed the allocation of 60 million dollars in government’s COVID-19 Response Budget.

Kumar acknowledged the impact that COVID-19 has on the tourism sector and says the incentives will help keep businesses operational.

The bills introduced to parliament included tax holidays for investments amongst other incentives that gives businesses the opportunity to ‘ease’ their way through this crisis.
