Achieving a gender-equal world requires social innovations that work for both women and men and leave no one behind.

The Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, while officiating at the Makoi Vocational Center Graduation, said the celebration is a great example of a social innovation.

“A solution explored by an institute like the Fiji Muslim League aimed to transform the lives of Fijian women with little or no formal education,” Minister Vuniwaqa said.

“The continually evolving programs of the Makoi Vocational Center can accelerate impact. This institute deserves to stand very proud today.”
