The youth of #Fiji must learn to value farming and must not forget the hard work of their parents and forefathers.

The Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Parveen Kumar Bala said that hard work and legacy must be continued.

At the handover of farming assistance at Nabukebuke village in Ovalau yesterday, he acknowledged the contribution of the landowners who provided consent to these youth clubs to utilise the land for farming.

The recipients of the farming assistance consisted of two youth clubs namely the Nabukebuke Youth Club and Waitovu Youth Club.

Over the course of Minister Bala’s two-day visit to Ovalau Island, a total of 168 youth members benefitted from receiving the farming assistance.

The youth members had shared that the assistance has encouraged them to work even harder and achieve success in terms of farming.
