Five Marriott International Fiji Resorts – The Westin Denarau Fiji Resort & Spa, Sheraton Fiji Resort, Sheraton Denarau Villas, Sheraton Tokoriki and Marriott Momi Bay Fiji have teamed up and set up the ‘Solia Lesu’ Foundation.

Solia Lesu which means ‘Give Back’ is aimed at providing meals to associates and their communities that have been affected by COVID-19 and Cyclone Harold as well as first responders and healthcare workers.

Marriott International, values and culture is putting people first.

“During these challenging and unprecedented times, the well-being of our associates is of the most utmost importance to Marriot which has led the team to form the ‘Solia Lesu’ by Marriott International Fiji Foundation,” said Neeraj Chadha, the Multi Property Vice President, Fiji and Samoa.

The objective to provide associates and their communities with 100 meals per day starting with three villages.

Initial funding will come from donations by the Senior Leadership team and the team will continue to raise funds by extending their reach to business partners, family and friends of Fiji for donations.

The foundation also has a Facebook Page, ‘Solia Lesu’.

This initiative also encompasses the “Nurture” pillar of Marriott Serve 360 to create better places to live, work and visit.
