They’ve played out two hard fought arm wrestles so far in the 2019 Pacific Nations Cup, but Manu Samoa remains upbeat and positive ahead of Saturday’s much awaited showdown against a free flowing Fijian side in Suva.
Manu Samoa Head Coach, Steve Jackson, says preparation is a must ahead of their game against Fiji this weekend.
“We’ll review last weekend’s games first, and then we’ll have a good look at Fiji’s performance, and look at what we will want to do and improve on,” Jackson says.
Vice Captain- Alapati Leiua says it’s going to be an exciting challenge this weekend, knowing very well it will be physical against their Pacific Neighbor.
“We will focus on our recovery while we review the team’s performance from last Saturday,” Leiua says.
“Obviously it’s going to be a tough game against the Flying Fijians, but as our coach have said, we will review all the team’s performance and see where we need to work on from there.”
The Manu Samoans will take on the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians at 7.15pm at the ANZ Stadium in Suva- this Saturday.
