A man in his 50’s is alleged to have died following a motor vehicle accident this afternoon.
The incident occurred along the Queens Road near Kulukulu, Sigatoka.
The accused was heading towards Nadi when the victim who was walking along the side of the road is alleged to have jumped on to the road where he was hit by the truck.
He was rushed to the Sigatoka Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival. The suspect is currently been questioned by Police as investigations continue.
