A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over Fiji.
The Nadi Weather Office has also confirmed that another trough of low pressure is expected to drift towards the group, from the northwest tomorrow.
The Weather Office says people can expect occasional rain, heavy at times with a few squally thunderstorms over the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, the eastern and interior parts of the larger islands.
It adds that elsewhere there will be cloudy periods with some showers and possible afternoon or evening thunderstorms.
The Weather Office says that showers will be increasing to rain, and become more frequent and heavy from tonight.
