Homes of Hope received a timely boost, with a donation of over four thousand dollars from Leadership Fiji.
Homes of Hope is the only organisation in Fiji that provides long term care for girls, young mothers, and their children.
In 2017, Leadership Fiji organised the Rosie Batty fundraiser and decided to donate the surplus which was $4,823 to Homes of Hope.
Rosie Batty is an Australian domestic violence campaigner and the 2015 Australian of the Year.
The money received will go into the training program, which include baking, sewing, backyard gardening and others.
Homes of Hope Founder Mark Roche said he appreciates the partnership with leadership Fiji over the years, and their commitment to helping single mothers.
