Lautoka football team has for the first time laid their hands on the Pacific Cup.

The champions of Fiji Football added another title to their name after winning the Pacific Cup in Australia yesterday.

Kalam Swamy coached side beat NZ FFI All Stars 1 – nil in the final.

Australian based Anthony Frangie scored the only goal of the match.

The Samuela Drudru skippered Lautoka side outclassed Western Sydney 3-1 earlier in the semifinals while NZFFI All Stars overcame Rewa 6-5 in penalties.

Lautoka returns home AUD $10,000 richer while NZFFI ALL Stars receive AUD $3000 for reaching the final.
