The largest Hindu organisation in the country, Shree Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji has confirmed that they will be providing assistance to students who attend any of their schools.

The Sabha runs 117 schools in the country and they have more than 70,000 students.

Sabha General Secretary, Vijendra Prakash says this assistance will be in the form of lunch and school supplies for affected students.

Assistace has been set out for students in schools under the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji.

Sabha General Secretary, Vijendra Prakash says this assistance will be for the schools students who have been affected by COVID-19 or Tropical Cyclone Harold.

Prakash says teachers and school heads will identify the students who have been affected and will inform the management after which arrangements will be made to assist these students.

Plans is also in place on how the assistance to affected students will be rolled out.

All this will happen when school opens on the 15th of June.
