The 2021 Pacific Mini
Games will most likely be delayed, says Pacific Games Council President Vidhya
Lakhan.

The Pacific Mini
Games will most likely be held in December due to the Olympic Games now falling
in July 2021.

Initially the Mini
Games was scheduled for next year June but that will now change.

Lakhan says they are
working with hosts Northern Marianas on an alternative date for next year’s
Pacific Mini Games.

It will also be
another historical sporting event for ‘the Northern Mariana Islands to stage
the 11th edition of the Pacific Mini Games.

Lakhan says having the Mini Games in December will allow athletes more time for preparation after the Olympic Games.
