Moving Away from Home is never an easy thing for anybody especially when you begin University Life for the very first time.
And that’s exactly how Blaise Kelomaie a First-Year Solomon Island Student-was feeling coming over  to study in Fiji for the very first time.

“Coming here to Fiji is like a Dream come true for me, especially as a Kid growing up and civil engineering is my dream and I want to become a Civil Engineer. Coming over to Fiji is quite an exciting experience a new atmosphere and especially a University like this”

He said it was a bit of struggle coming out here as there was no relative or family member to help.

“I find it a bit of a struggle out here alone, I have no close relative and family to help me out in school staff. I hope as time goes by, I know I will get to know other people, make friends with them and become familiar with this Environment”

The first-year student will be pursuing a 3 year Diploma in Civil Engineering and hopes after he Graduates will contribute to his Counties development in the Engineering sector.
