Australian John and Yvette Nikolic appeared again at the Lautoka High Court today.
Drugs and ammunition was found at their yacht in Denarau.
They are charged with 1 Count of unlawful possession of Illicit Drugs contrary to section 5 (a) of the Illicit
Drugs Control Act, 2004.
They are also charged with one count of failure to declare Arms and Ammunition to a Custom Officer contrary to section 21 (1) (a) of the Arms and Ammunition Act, 2004.
John Nikolic is charged with one Count of unlawful importation of Illicit Drugs contrary to section 4 (1) of the Illicit Drugs Control Act, 2004.
Defence lawyer Wasu Pillay raised concerns about the pre-trial conference checklist not being provided.
Prosecution said they were ready with the checklist which was served to the defence today.
Pillay also asked to be given time with his clients to discuss the PTC checklist and a seizure notice that was provided by FRCS in relation to the yacht owned by the couple
This was allowed by judge Justice Sunil Sharma, who asked the escorting officer to give the couple and their lawyer two hours to go over the details
The matter has been adjourned to October 9.
