Investment Fiji CEO, Craig Strong had a virtual meeting with Fiji’s High Commissioner to Australia, H.E. Mr Luke Daunivalu and the Fiji Trade Commission, Acting Officer in Charge, Mr Daniel Stow to discuss on a tailored investment strategy for the Australian market.
H.E. Mr Daunivalu concurred with Investment Fiji on strengthening existing market sectors and collaborating with Fiji Consulate General & Trade Commission, Australia & New Zealand.
Mr Stow highlighted on a business plan for Australia and a coordinated effort to market Fijian brand in the Australian market.
“With our combined resources, we need to nurture our existing projects and redirect budget for digital channels to target key sectors.”
He added areas of interest for Australian investors such as beef and dairy industry, ICT & BPO and niche manufacturing.
Mr Strong said a strategic market plan and working closely with the Trade Commission would enable the team to action plans.
“Our goal is to regularly connect with our key trading partners and pinpoint on exports and investment promotion.”
