Flying Fijians -Head Coach, John McKee.

As Manu Samoa remains upbeaten, positive and looking to beat the Fijian side here on their home-ground, the much awaited showdown will feature two Pacific Island brothers, going against each other in Suva this Saturday.

The Flying Fijian’s – Josh Matavesi says, they are looking to expect a very physical game against their neighboring islanders, but for sure will do their best, in front of their home crowd.

Matavesi adds that their focus goes way beyond their match against the Samoans this week, as the main focus lies towards the road, to the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Meanwhile, as the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Head Coach – John McKee works on testing the boys for a good combination in their line-up against Manu Samoa this week, the week-long training would also be on implementing new things, in their game plan.

Coach McKee says despite Samoa’s loss to the USA last Saturday, the Samoans are expected to provide a tough battle, in the final Pacific Nations Cup match, in Suva this Saturday.

McKee says that in terms of their preparations , it’s good to be back home leading into a full week of travelling – as travelling was one main factor affecting the team’s training.
