In the past few weeks, there has been an increase in calls received from people living with Disability.

This was revealed by Lifeline Fiji-Officer in Charge-Jeremaia Merekula.

Lifeline Fiji is trying to partner with the Disability Association on setting up a convenient platform for their members to access their line.

Merekula says they also received calls coming in from Senior Citizens that just need someone to talk to.

Their 10 Crisis Support  staff just recently completed a 3 day Training with APTC on crisis Intervention session.

Lifeline Fiji has emphasized the need once again for people to access their service when going through a Crisis on their 24 hour 132454 Toll Free Line anywhere in Fiji.

Close to 400 Calls was received by Lifeline Fiji last month alone.
