Fiji Airways Fijian 7s Captain Kalione Nasoko has publicly apologized for his recent misdemeanor in failing a roadside breath tes.

In a press conference in Nadi, Nasoko acknowledged the disappointment he has caused to the people he proudly represents.

The Yasawa Flyer asked for forgiveness from the people of Fiji, the Fiji Rugby Union, sponsors, his team mates and family for letting them down, he said yesterday.

Nasoko said to represent Fiji is an honor and privilege and one that he will cherish and value greatly.

The soft spoken captain said he made a mistake in making the assumption that he was fully recovered when he decided to drive his vehicle that morning and he regretted the error of judgementfor the decision he made.

He said he never intended to cause damage or harm to the reputation or legacy of the White Jersey and he is truly sorry.

Nasoko traveled with the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s to the USA for the upcoming Las Vegas and Canada 7s after being granted bail from the courts.

Meanwhile, the CEOfor FRU and Coach Gareth Baber, were thankful that Nasoko had been upfront and took accountabilities of his actions.
