The 2019 Courts IDC tournament Pool Draw was done at Courts’ Lautoka branch today.
With the tournament being one of the oldest in the country boasting an 80 year of existence, Courts has been behind the tournament as major sponsor for the last 20 years.
Courts last year signed up for another 5 years as the major sponsor.
Pool draws for the biggest event on the Fiji Football Association calendar was held this morning, the 2019 Courts IDC tournament.
And Courts Fiji handing over one hundred thousand dollars in sponsorship money.
The draw saw local football giants Lautoka, Ba and Labasa needed together with Tavua in Group A of the Premier Division, while Nadi, Suva, Nasinu and Rewa make up Group B.
In the Senior Division Savusavu, Lami, Northland Tailevu and Dreketi have been drawn into Pool 1, while Pool 2 has Navua, Nadroga, Tailevu Naitasiri and Seaqaqa.
The 2019 Courts IDC tournament will be played over a period of 5 days at the Prince Charles Park in Nadi. The winner will walk away with a 25 thousand dollar prize money.
The tournament will not be played over two weeks as the tradition in the past, all matches and finals will be held within the span of 5 days.
Nadi will be hosting this year’s tournament after a lapse of 10 years.
